February 19: African Music Nites Anniversary and Outreach Celebration
Sponsored by a Smart Ventures grant from the City of Seattle Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs, we are offering free African dance workshops in the afternoon, and a gala evening show featuring Eduardo Mendonça followed by Roger Ocquaye and Spirit of Ojah.
Workshops:
3:00- 4:00 pm – Contemporary Congolese Dance with Makeda Ebube
4:00- 5:00 pm – Traditional Guinean Dance (style TBD) with Manimou Camara
