Fafi A.K.A. 3 Percent – Zimbabwean Urban Music
Songwriter, rapper and poet Fafi Bere, on tour from New York, defies any easy pigeonhole. He blends African marimba rhythms with hip-hop, reggae, and dancehall beats to give a unique hard-hitting sound that can be identified as urban world music. He tops it all with a dance or two inspired by Zimbabwean folk and Congolese soukous rhythms.
