African Music Nites has been invited to Lucid Lounge in the U District, and we initiate a trial last-Friday-of-the-month series there on January 25th with Zimbabwean music from Mahonyera Mbira Ensemble. Lucid is a classy, intimate club that I think people will enjoy, especially North-enders. Meanwhile, we continue with monthly shows at The Royal Room Columbia City.
